Biden accepts invitation to visit Israel in coming months

JERUSALEM (AP) — The U.S. and Israel say that President Joe Biden has accepted an invitation to visit Israel in the coming months. Biden shared the news with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett during a conversation Sunday. Their offices say the two men discussed recent Israeli-Palestinian unrest as well as shared concerns about Iran. While Biden agreed to soon visit, neither country gave a date for his trip.
