SAINT-DENIS, France (AP) — French President Emmanuel Macron is visiting a multicultural, working-class suburb north of Paris to woo leftist voters ahead of Sunday’s presidential runoff against far-right challenger Marine Le Pen. Macron, who lead the first round of voting on April 10, was seeking to broaden his support. He made one of his last campaign stops in the poorest region of mainland France, the Seine-Saint-Denis, where many residents are immigrants or have immigrant roots. Le Pen, meanwhile, was speaking with voters in northern France ahead of her final rally. The result of the French vote will have wide international influence, prompting center-left leaders in Germany, Spain and Portugal on Thursday to urge French voters to choose Macron over Le Pen.
