Harmony Montgomery disappearance narrowed to 13-day window

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Investigators have narrowed the window for when a New Hampshire girl went missing to 13 days in late 2019. That coincides with her father and stepmother’s eviction, as well as witness accounts of the family living in cars. Harmony Montgomery was 5 years old when she disappeared. The attorney general’s office said Monday her father and stepmother were evicted on Nov. 27, 2019. But by approximately Dec. 6–10, 2019, the couple apparently had only their two common children. The stepmother, Kayla Montgomery, pleaded not guilty Monday to charges she lied last year that Harmony Montgomery was in her household to claim food stamp benefits.
