Martindale, Odum lead Pacific over Lamar 77-76

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — Judson Martindale scored 15 points to lead Pacific and Moe Odum sealed the victory with a layup with 13 seconds left as the Tigers knocked off Lamar 77-76 on Saturday night.

Martindale was 6 of 12 shooting (1 for 5 from 3-point range) for the Tigers (2-2). Cam Denson added 14 points while shooting 5 of 7 from the field and 4 for 8 from the line, and they also had six rebounds. Odum was 5 of 9 shooting, including 2 for 6 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 4 from the line to finish with 14 points, while adding eight assists.

Cody Pennebaker led the Cardinals (2-2) in scoring, finishing with 22 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two steals. Lamar also got 14 points, 12 rebounds and four assists from Adam Hamilton. Chris Pryor also had 13 points and four assists.

NEXT UP

Pacific plays Monday against North Dakota at home, and Lamar takes on Bethune-Cookman on Friday.
