Tucson police: Body is found in a pond on city’s south side

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities say a body has been found in a pond on Tucson’s south side. Police say officers are working with the Tucson Fire Department to recover the body. It was spotted early Monday morning in water near the Kino Sports Complex. Police say an investigation is underway and there’s no immediate word on the person’s gender or a possible cause of death.
