Semitruck Crash Outside Salinas leaves man in Critical Condition

A man is in critical condition after a crash involving a semi truck on old stage road and Espinoza road just outside Salinas on Thursday evening.

CHP identified the man as being from Gonzales, saying the man was ejected from his pick up truck after hitting the semi, and is now receiving care at Natividad medical center.

It is not clear if drugs or alcohol were involved in this crash. The driver of the semitruck got away from the crash with no injuries.
