19-year old from Milpitas killed in deadly crash south of Davenport
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) - The CHP released new details about a deadly crash that shut down part of Highway 1 in Santa Cruz County Saturday.
At approximately 12:52 pm, officers said they responded to a crash at the intersection of southbound Highway 1 and Laguna Road.

For reasons still under investigation, the CHP said the motorcycle crashed into the rear of the Mini Cooper. After the initial crash, officers said the motorcyclist was ejected and landed on the highway where he was pronounced dead despite life-saving efforts.
The Mini Cooper's driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to the CHP.
