Suspect arrested in December 1 King City shooting, one still on the loose; King City Police
KING CITY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- King City Police announced Wednesday that a 21-year-old Silvano Valencia Jr. has been arrested for the alleged murder of a 31-year-old man back in December.
According to police, Valencia Jr. along with another suspect, 20-year-old Israel Martinez, murdered the man on the 800 block of Willow Street.
Through an arrest warrant, detectives were able to get help from the United States Marshals Service to find Valencia Jr. and place him under arrest in Brawley, California.
Valencia Jr. is currently in custody at the Imperial County Jail waiting for extradition to Monterey County for homicide, gun and gang enhancements, according to police.
The other suspect was identified by police as 20-year-old Israel Martinez. They say that there is an active arrest warrant for Martinez and do not currently know his whereabouts.
King City Police say that they are working closely with the United States Marshals Service to locate Martinez and are asking the community for help doing this.
Martinez is described as a Hispanic male adult, brown hair and brown eyes, 5’4” 140 lbs. Police say that he has many tattoos, including three dots on his right cheek below his eye and one dot on his left cheek below his eye. They say he also has the words “Blue Devil” on his left hand and a crown tattooed on his left arm.
"Martinez is considered armed and dangerous," wrote Police Chief James Hunt in a press release Wednesday. "Please do not try to contact or apprehend him yourself."

Update: King City Police identify the suspect in homicide from December 1
KING CITY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The King City Police Department announced in a press release Friday, that they are still currently looking for an unidentified accomplice, as well as the suspect in a deadly shooting that took place in the 800 block of Willow Street on December 1.
The shooter suspect is identified as 20-year-old Israel Martinez of King City, according to police.

Police are describing Martinez as:
"Martinez is described as a Hispanic male adult, brown hair and brown eyes, 5’4” 140 lbs. He has several
tattoos including three dots on his right cheek below his eye and one dot on his left cheek below his eye.
He also has the words 'Blue Devil' on his left hand and a crown tattooed on his left arm."
They said that around 4 a.m. on Friday, the King City Police Department along with many other local law enforcement agencies, were able to serve multiple search warrants throughout the city.
According to police, Martinez was not home when officers attempted to serve him a search warrant and there is an active warrant for his arrest for homicide.
King City Police are asking for the public's help in locating Martinez.
"Martinez is considered armed and dangerous," said Chief James Hunt. They urge the public not to approach him.
Chief Hunt also said that two accomplice suspects were involved in the homicide, assisting Martinez.
Both of the accomplice suspects were issued search warrants by officers Friday morning and are now booked in the Monterey County Jail, according to police. They are identified as 22-year-old King City resident Eliseo Gutierrez, and 24-year-old King City resident Juan Javier Perez.

Police are still looking the unidentified person of interest as well as Martinez.

King City Police confirms deadly shooting investigation underway Sunday afternoon
KING CITY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- King City Police confirms at least one 31-year-old man is dead after a shooting in King City on Sunday afternoon.
Police say it happened along the 800 block of Willow Street around 1:45 p.m., and the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
People who live nearby reached out to KION and say they heard about six gunshots around that time.
Police say their detectives were just arriving on scene when KION initially reached out about the shooting shortly after.
Tuesday, King City Police issued a press release that said say that they located a silver Honda sedan that was believed to be connected to the shooting, and that the car was stolen out of the San Francisco Bay Area on November 25.
King City Police say that they are currently in possession of the vehicle, which is being processed for evidence.
