One person arrested for DUI after crash backs up Highway 1; CHP
SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - An early morning crash leads to a DUI arrest of the driver on Highway 1 near Freedom Boulevard on Wednesday, according to the CHP.
The solo crash lead to a major traffic delay with Santa Cruz California Highway Patrol arriving on the scene around 5:30 a.m.
An officer noticed the driver showed signs of impairment, leading to the arrest, according to the CHP.
CHP Santa Cruz is telling drivers on their Facebook to let this be a reminder not to drink and drive especially during the Halloween season.
