Mountain lion spotted in a residential Pacific Grove yard

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Pacific Grove police confirmed Wednesday that a mountain lion was resting in a residential yard on the 400 block of Ocean View Boulevard near the 100 block of 11th Street.

They said that a biologist is monitoring the situation and believes that the mountain lion will likely leave on its own once it has cooled off.

Police want to remind the public not to engage with wildlife or try and provoke the mountain lion in any way.
