Crews battling a structure fire near Freedom
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) - CAL FIRE and other fire agencies are on scene of a structure fire on Freedom Blvd.
The CHP'S Santa Cruz office said Freedom Blvd. was shut down between McDonald Rd. and Day Valley Rd. because of the fire. People are asked to avoid the area to allow emergency services to do their work. The CHP has not yet announced when the road might reopen.
No word of any evacuations, but smoke can be seen from a camera in the area.
