Christian McCaffrey will not play Sunday against Vikings

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The 49ers announced on Friday that RB Christian McCaffrey will not suit up when the 49ers take on the Vikings in Minnesota on Sunday.

McCaffrey is out with a calf, and achilles injury, according to the training staff.

It is unclear when he could return. There have reports that the 49ers considering putting him on the IR.
