Argyle fire forward progress stopped at 100 acres

BRADLEY, Calif. (KION) -- Cal Fire confirmed a vegetation fire broke out on Argyle Road in the Bradley area on Sunday, September 1 around 10:40 p.m., causing evacuation orders for people living within five miles south of the fire.

According to CAL FIRE, the cause of the fire was a car fire that caught on nearby vegetation.

Around 5:40 a.m. Monday, CAL FIRE said forward progress had stopped at 100 acres and they were working to hold control lines. It says the weather is in their favor.
