Person hit and killed by a car on Highway 101 near King City; CHP

KING CITY, Calif (KION-TV) - The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash after a car hit a person walking on Highway 101 and Broadway near King City. The incident happened around 7 a.m. Wednesday.

The driver of the car stopped and is cooperating with the investigation, according to the CHP.

DUI is not a factor in the accident, according to the CHP. The CHP is investigating why the person was on the Highway.
