Vegetation fire burning just off Highway 101 at the Crazy Horse Canyon onramp

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV) -- There was a vegetation fire on NB Highway 101 and the Crazy Horse Canyon onramp in Salinas on Wednesday afternoon, said CAL FIRE.

CAL FIRE also said that the Horse Fire was at one acre before being reduced to 1/8-acre and contained. It originally had a slow rate of spread.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, according to CAL FIRE.
