WIMBLEDON, England (AP) — Marketa Vondrousova will begin play at Centre Court on Day 2 of Wimbledon, an honor reserved for the returning women’s champion. She plays Jessica Bouzas Madeiro to get things started in the main stadium on Tuesday. They will be followed by seven-time champion Novak Djokovic against Vit Kopriva. Also scheduled for Centre Court is Andy Murray against Tomas Machac — if Murray decides he can play 10 days after having surgery to remove a cyst from his spinal cord. Top-seeded Iga Swiatek meets 2020 Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin. Kenin eliminated Coco Gauff in the first round last year.
