USGS: 3.5 magnitude earthquake hits south Monterey County

SAN ARDO, Calif. (KION-TV) Tuesday afternoon at 2:20 p.m., an earthquake registering 3.5 shook parts of south Monterey County.

The quake's epicenter was 15 miles east of San Ardo, with a depth of 3.2 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

There have been reports of people feeling the quake in King City. No damage of injuries reported.
