California Rodeo Salinas looking for national anthem singers

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV)- If you feel like you can sing in front of thousands of people then you will have your chance in July.

The California Rodeo Salinas announced that they are looking for aspiring singers to perform the "Star Spangled Banner," during the 2024 Rodeo.

Rodeo officials are looking for singers to perform the National Anthem on Wednesday July 17 for the Bull Riding Event and for the Rodeo which takes place July 18 thru July 21.

Here are some of the application requirements.

  • Fill out the online application form and submit it online by Friday June 14
  • The application must have a link to your YouTube page

Rodeo officials said that they will notify singers if they will be performing after July 1.
