Crisp and Kelp host Lights on Defend the 831 Night
SEASIDE, Calif. (KION) - In a Western Conference showdown, Monterey Bay F.C. (2-1-2, 8 points) will host Las Vegas Lights FC (3-2-0, 9 points) on Defend the 831 Night at Cardinale Stadium.
The Union will be without Walmer Martinez and Carlos Herrera after the post-match altercation involving Monterey Bay F.C. and Oakland Roots. Martinez is serving a four-match suspension, while Herrera was dealt a red card and will be forced to sit against Las Vegas.
In total, with suspensions and injuries, seven players will be unavailable.
The last time these two teams met, Monterey Bay outlasted Las Vegas 3-2 in a high-scoring affair. This time around, the Crisp and Kelp are looking to add another three points and make a jump in the standings.
