WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden has hosted family members of some of the eight Americans believed still held captive in Gaza, assuring them his administration won’t stop working to get their loved ones home. The meeting Wednesday was Biden’s first in-person engagement with the families of the Americans unaccounted for after Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel. The White House said 13 family members participated in person, while three others took part by phone. Biden had previously met with some of the family members virtually or by phone.
