One person dead after a car crash on Highway 1 in Big Sur

BIG SUR, Calif. (KION) - One person is dead after a two car crash on Highway 1 in Big Sur. According to the CHP, the crash happened southbound on Highway 1.

The crash occured around 7:30 Monday evening. CHP is still investigating how the crash happened.
