3.2 earthquake hits south Monterey County

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV)-- A 3.2 magnitude earthquake hit south Monterey County Friday at 5:44 p.m., said the USGS.

The epicenter is believed to be near the east of Peachtree Valley, east of San Lucas.

The earthquake was registered 6.7 km underground, according to the USGS.
