MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV)-- Monterey County Regional Fire Department held their recognition celebration on Saturday.

Years of service milestones as well as 18 promotions and recent retirement resolutions were all presented.

The Monterey County Fire Department 2021 Firefighter of the year was awarded to Engineer Miller.

The recognition event was held at Buena Vista Middle School's gym.
