King City Police: All lines working after two carriers temporarily not able to connect some residents through 911

UPDATE 7/28/2021 9:15 p.m. King City police say all lines should be working now.

Earlier today, the department warned that T-Mobile and AT&T customers with 831 area codes may have trouble connecting with police through 911.

UPDATE 7/28/2021 6:15 p.m. King City Police said T-Mobile subscribers should be able to connect to 911 again, but now AT&T customers may not be able to connect with police through 911.

PREVIOUS STORY: The King City Police Department is warning residents that some local T-Mobile subscribers may not currently be able to connect through 911.

T-Mobile users with 831 area codes may have trouble connecting, according to the department.

Anyone who needs police services can call Monterey County Communications at 831-755-5111 until T-Mobile's system repairs are complete.
