Thousands of citations issued after Salinas red light cameras installed

SALINAS, Calif. (KION) The Salinas Police Department has provided an update on the red light cameras installed at four intersections.

The department said that since the cameras were installed last year, they have lead to nearly 2,200 citations.

Police said each violation is reviewed by an employee before a citation is issued.
