Snow spotted in Sierra de Salinas range

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION) The National Weather Service reports that there is snow on the Central Coast Monday.

The agency's Bay Area office shared a PG&E video showing fresh snow from one of its Palo Escrito cams.

Palo Escrito peak is located in the Sierra de Salinas range west of Highway 101 in south county. There is also snow reported on peaks in the Santa Lucia Range.
