Two people arrested in connection to multiple robberies in Santa Cruz County

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION) The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office said it has arrested two people in connection to robberies around the county, and they believe there could be more victims.

Detectives have arrested Dalton Delaney and a teenager in connection to four robberies. They happened in Capitola, Santa Cruz, Soquel and Live Oak.

The victims said they were robbed at gunpoint, and based on descriptions, interviews and other information, detectives were able to identify the suspects.

During a search, investigators said they found an airsoft gun, which they believe was used during the robberies.

Delaney was arrested and is facing five felony charges, and the teen was taken to Juvenile Hall.

Investigators believe there could be more victims, and they released a photo of the suspect vehicle, which they said was described in several other incidents that involved people pointing a gun at the victim.
