Crews respond to structure fire on E. Carmel Valley Road

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION) The Pine Canyon Fire Department said it responded to a structure fire at about 9:40 p.m. Thursday along with Cal Fire BEU and the Monterey County Sheriff's Office.

The fire was located in a barn near the intersection of Piney Creek Road and East Carmel Valley Road, according to Cal Fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
