Aptos man dies a week after crash on Freedom Boulevard

APTOS, Calif. (KION) A 69-year-old Aptos man has died days after he was involved in a crash on Freedom Boulevard.

The crash happened on Nov. 5 when he was going north on Freedom Boulevard south of Valencia Road. The California Highway Patrol said he made a left turn in front of a vehicle heading south of Freedom Boulevard, and the two vehicles collided.

The man was taken to the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, but later died of complications related to his injuries at Mills Peninsula Hospital Friday.
