WATSONVILLE, Calif. (KION) A carjacking caught on camera leads to the arrest of three men. Watsonville Police posted the surveillance video on their Facebook page.

18-year-old Manuel Hernandez, 29-year-old Joel Vazquez and 23-year-old Raul Leal have been arrested and booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail on felony charges.

The incident took place the evening of Thursday Oct. 29 at a car wash in the 900 block of Main St in Watsonville.

Police say the victim was vacuuming his car when the suspects drove up in two separate vehicles and boxed him in.

Watsonville Police later spotted two of the suspects near the scene of the carjacking. Hernandez and Vazquez were taken into custody. The stolen vehicle was also recovered, according to police.

Fast forward to this past Wednesday night, Watsonville Police say they have found the third suspect, 23-year-old Raul Leal, who was driving the white pickup that boxed in the victim’s vehicle.
