Sheriff’s Office: Driver found with stolen vehicle, burglary tools in Santa Cruz County

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION) A man found driving a stolen vehicle has been arrested, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office, and several suspicious items were found in the vehicle.

The Sheriff's Office said a deputy pulled over the driver, Robert Lee Jr., in a stolen vehicle. Inside, the deputy reportedly found a dozen cell phones, shaved keys that can be used to get into cars, burglary tools, a shotgun, a stun gun, drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Lee is also a convicted felon with an out-of-county felony warrant, according to the Sheriff's Office. He was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail.
