Suspect arrested in connection to robbery in downtown Hollister
HOLLISTER, Calif. (KION) Hollister police have arrested a man in connection to a robbery downtown.
Police said they were first called to the downtown area after a report of a man holding a pistol wrapped in a red bandanna at around 9 a.m. They later found that he allegedly showed an object that appeared to be a gun and threatened a victim during a robbery.
The suspect was described by dispatch as a Hispanic man who was bald, thin and wearing a striped shirt and blue jeans. He had last been seen walking between the A&W Restaurant and 7-Eleven store.
When officers got there, they found a man matching the description in the 300 block of Sixth Street. He is identified as 36-year-old Raul Bedolla, and police said he is a transient with prior addresses in Santa Clara County and Hollister.
Bedolla was booked into the San Benito County Jail and charged with felony robbery.
