Fight over vehicle driving too fast through King City neighborhood leads to assault

KING CITY, Calif. (KION) Three people were injured in King City following a fight about a vehicle driving too fast.

At about 8:20 p.m. Sunday, police were called to the corner of Seventh Street and Luckett for a report of an assault.

During the investigation, police said they found that there was a fight between people at two different households over a vehicle driving through the neighborhood too fast. Police said that during the fight, one person was stabbed in the hand and two people were injured when they were hit with sticks or brooms.

The victim was treated at a Salinas hospital and was released.
