Mountain lion spotted in backyard on Ralston Drive

MONTEREY, Calif. (KION) A mountain lion was reportedly seen in a backyard on Ralston Drive Monday morning.

Monterey police said the resident saw the mountain lion on a video camera at about 6:15 a.m.

It did not show aggressive behavior, but police said the California Department of Fish and Wildlife has been notified and residents are asked to use caution.

Anyone who sees a mountain lion is asked to call Monterey police at 831-646-3914.
