LIMEKILN STATE PARK, Calif. (KION) Crews fighting the Dolan Fire are working to protect structures in Limekiln State Park.

One of the ways they are doing that is by wrapping buildings in a fire-resistant structure wrap. It is intended to protect the entry station, water tower and other buildings from embers or heat, and hopefully make them less likely to catch fire if it reaches that area.

The Dolan Fire has burned 36,237 acres, up more than 2,000 acres since Sunday. It is 40% contained.
