WATCH: Victim of fall in Arroyo Seco rescued with CHP helicopter

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION) The victim of a fall in the Arroyo Seco Recreational Area was rescued near the river, and the helicopter response was caught on camera.

Arroyo Seco Fire and Monterey-area Cal Fire responded to the scene of the fall and requested help from the CHP Coastal Division Air Operations' H-70 helicopter.

The victim was found by ground crews in the gorge west of the campground, and the helicopter responded and got her out of the gorge.

She was then flown to an area where an ambulance was waiting to take her to the hospital.
