Two wanted for allegedly stealing 18-packs of beer in Salinas, firing gun at clerk

SALINAS, Calif. (KION) Salinas police are looking for two people accused of stealing 18-packs of beer.

At around 11 p.m. on July 21, police said the two people walked into a 7-Eleven on South Sanborn Road and stole two 18-packs of beer.

The clerk followed the two outside, and police said the suspect in the gray hooded sweatshirt pulled out a gun, pointed it in the direction of the clerk and fired a round.

The suspects got into a dark-colored sedan and left before officers got there, according to Salinas police.
