Missing Soquel teen found safe

SOQUEL, Calif. (KION)

UPDATE 7/27/2020 2 p.m. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office said Keanna Cornell has been found safe.

PREVIOUS STORY: The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office said it is searching for a teen who has been reported missing.

The Sheriff's Office said 15-year-old Keanna Cornell left her Soquel home yesterday to see friends and has not returned or spoken to her family.

Cornell's family said this is unlike her and are asking for help finding her.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 831-471-1121 and reference case #20-06071.
