UPDATE 7/19/2020 4:00 p.m.: A historic building at the Monterey Bay Academy in Watsonville is left in ruins after it caught fire on Saturday night.

The school said the fire was contained to one building, called the Beach Auditorium. All other buildings were left untouched.

No one was injured in the incident, according to the school. They said the big loss was a historical one to the campus, as the building was the original auditorium from the WWII Camp McQuaide.
