Community gives back to National Guard as they bid them farewell

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION) Local business are coming together to host a final honoring to the National Guard Troops as their duties come to an end.

Many of the troops are from all over California and were deployed to the Central Coast when the COVID-19 pandemic began.

The guardsmen were previously temporarily relocated to Sacramento in response to ongoing civil unrest.
