Protesters in Salinas rally for BLM on Sunday

SALINAS, Calif. (KION) In Salinas, another protest was held just outside of Star Market on East Blanco Road on Sunday.

Peaceful protesters waved signs painted with phrases like "Black Lives Matter" and took turns addressing the crowd gathered there through a megaphone.

Cars passing by honked to show their support for the protesters and their cause.

Protests like these all started when George Floyd, a Minneapolis black man, died while he was in police custody on May 25.
