Alvarado Street repaving work begins
MONTEREY, Calif. (KION) The City of Monterey has begun paving work on Alvarado Street.
The work stretches from Del Monte Avenue to Polk Street, and it is expected to last from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
The road will be closed, but sidewalks and area businesses will be open for curbside pick-up.
The city said it is working on street, sidewalk and ADA ramp improvements.
