Carmel High School graduation to be held at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca

CARMEL, Calif. (KION) Principal Jonathan Lyons announced that Carmel High School will be holding this year's graduation ceremony at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

It will be a drive-thru ceremony, according to Lyons, and will involve graduating seniors forming a processional of cars around the track.

Lyons said they are encouraging businesses to display banners on the track to congratulate seniors, and they will be displayed on the school front throughout the summer.

The school is also asking businesses to donate coupons or giveaways for the care packages being put together for the seniors.

Lyons said more information about the date and time of the ceremony will be released soon.
