Driver injured when car hits flatbed tow truck in Greenfield

GREENFIELD, Calif. (KION) A driver was hospitalized after hitting a flatbed tow truck in Greenfield Wednesday.

At around 8 p.m., police and first responders were called to the crash in the 400 block of El Camino Real.

Police said the driver of the Honda hit the parked truck. The driver was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

Police said they are still investigating the cause of the crash, but said alcohol may have been a factor.
