Soledad police offer reward for information about vandalism suspect
SOLEDAD, Calif. (KION) Soledad police are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a vandalism suspect.
Police said that since March 19, they have responded to several calls about graffiti vandalism throughout the city in city parks, on mailboxes, on sound walls, on stop signs, in public restrooms and more.
The graffiti includes the letters "LSD" and a symbol showed in a photo released by police in various colors.
A witness described the suspect as a light complexioned Hispanic male or white male in his late teens or early 20s. They said he is about 5'10" with a thin build and wearing all black. The witness said he was driving a newer model mid-size KIA SUV that is red with a black roof. It apparently has California license plates, but the witness did not know the plate number.
Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-782-7463. If the information leads to an arrest and conviction, the person who reported it could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
