Seaside man dies in motorcycle crash

Monterey Police say one man is dead following an accident on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Del Monte Avenue regarding a report of a single vehicle motorcycle collision.

A 59-year-old Seaside man was taken to Natividad where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses reported the motorcyclist was traveling Westbound on Del Monte in the 2400 block when he lost control of the motorcycle and struck the raised center median.
