Challenge Accepted: MPUSD superintendent joins #ugoodchallenge
SEASIDE, Calif. (KION)
UPDATE 4/16/2020 6 p.m. Monterey Peninsula Unified School District's superintendent, PK Diffenbaugh, showed off his dance moves as part of the #ugoodchallenge.
Diffenbaugh did it in response to principals Sanders and Newton from Seaside High School and Monterey High School, who created their own #ugoodchallenge video earlier in the week.
"They're hoping their students and families are doing well and wish to encourage them to stay connected and have some fun during these times," Seaside High School said when the video of the two principals was released.
PREVIOUS STORY: Two Central Coast high school principals showed off their moves to their students by joining in the #ugoodchallenge.
Mr. Sanders from Seaside High School and Mr. Newton with Monterey High School took the opportunity to stay connected with students.
"They're hoping their students and families are doing well and wish to encourage them to stay connected and have some fun during these times," Seaside High School said in a statement.
