Seaside man dies in rollover crash near Willow Creek Bridge
MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION) A Seaside man has died after his vehicle rolled over and down a cliff Sunday morning.
The CHP said the 32-year-old man was driving northbound on SR 1 in a Toyota Tundra south of Willow Creek Bridge when he lost control, rolled over and came to a stop 400 feet down a cliff.
A search and rescue team found the man, but the vehicle will not be recovered until Tuesday when the weather is clear.
The CHP is investigating the crash, but the identity of the Seaside man will not be released until the next of kin has been notified.
