California Roots festival rescheduled for October

MONTEREY, Calif. (KION) The California Roots Music and Arts Festival announced that it will be rescheduling this year's event.

The festival was scheduled to take place from May 22 to 24 at the Monterey County Fair and Events Center, but is now scheduled for Oct. 9 to 11.

The festival said in a statement that the lineup will be 99% intact, and all tickets purchased for the original dates will be valid. Those who cannot attend the festival's October dates can transfer their tickets to Cali Roots 2021 or 2022.

The yearly event features reggae, hip hop and roots music.
