Salinas Police investigating shooting incident

UPDATE 5:58: Salinas Police say a male in his 20s was shot multiple times. Witnesses say two men were seen running away and getting into a dark colored sedan.

Officials believe the victim was targetted. He is listed in stable condition.

This is being investigated as a gang related incident.

Salinas Police Department officials tell KION they are on scene of a "possible shooting" at North First and Cherokee Drive.
